The tune package includes a base calibration matched to the confirmed vehicle, fuel and hardware, followed by two revisions using the logs requested by Justin. Pricing is confirmed after vehicle compatibility and the complete build details have been reviewed.

Observed hardware limits

Torque matters as much as the final number.

The figures below transcribe Justin's experience with the referenced forced-induction builds. They are warning points, not guaranteed targets or universal engine ratings.

CS turbo example 6 psi
about 280 whp

A turbo can build strong torque at low engine speed. Brake boosting or requesting full boost early increases connecting-rod load.

VT supercharger example 11 psi
about 260 whp

VT boost rises with engine speed, so it cannot produce the same full-boost, low-rpm event as the turbo example.

The lower observed rod threshold becomes the practical warning point for a stock-bottom-end combination.

Fourth generation observations Rods and pistons
about 270 whp

Justin's supplied guidance treats the fourth-generation rods and pistons as less tolerant than the third-generation parts.

A clean log cannot measure every mechanical limit.

Justin has observed stock rods fail from torque even when the log appeared normal. Power level, boost pressure, boost onset and the shape of the torque curve must be considered together. Anything beyond these observed ranges requires a direct discussion about engine hardware and risk.

Final values depend on the ECU, engine, fuel, hardware and log data. Nothing is raised simply because it can be.

Speed-limiter strategy

Revised beyond 140 mph where the ECU supports it and only for lawful, closed-course use with appropriately rated hardware.

Fuel-pressure targets

Higher or reshaped pressure targets where the engine load and fuel system require them.

Ignition timing

Recalibrated around fuel quality, airflow, load and knock feedback, not a one-size-fits-all timing increase.

Redline strategy

A higher operating limit where mechanically appropriate and supported by the engine's condition and hardware.

Intake & exhaust valve timing

Variable valve timing reshaped to improve cylinder filling, response and usable torque across the rev range.

Torque limiters

Revised limits and requests to let supported hardware deliver its potential while preserving controlled torque delivery.

Air-fuel targets

Leaner targets may be used in suitable low-load areas; full-load fueling remains driven by safety and the setup.

Compatibility check

Confirm the model, year, engine, transmission, market, ECU prefix, fuel and complete modification list.

Mechanical baseline

Resolve fault codes, leaks, worn plugs, weak fuel delivery and overdue maintenance before calibration begins.

Read & base file

Save the original ECU file with MazdaEdit, then receive a base calibration matched to the confirmed configuration.

Log & refine

Record the requested operating conditions. Justin reviews the data and revises the calibration where necessary.

Final validation

The finished revision is checked against the agreed fuel, hardware and use case, with the final logs kept for reference.
